It has been one of the most anticipated tours of the summer.
On
Wednesday, Beyonce and husband Jay Z kicked off their joint world tour
On The Run in spectacular style as they played Sun Life Stadium in
Miami, Florida.
The
show opened with their collaboration '03 Bonnie and Clyde, with
Beyonce, 32, swathed in a fishnet and leather body suit, complete with
high-heeled combat boots.
And they're off! On Wednesday, Beyonce and

fishnet headpiece covered her face, lending an aura of mystery, which
she later removed, shaking out her long mane of highlighted hair.
Meanwhile,
Jay Z, 44, sported a black blazer over a shirt emblazoned with the US
flag, along with gold chain necklaces, and a black beanie.
According to USA Today,
the stage was then filled with purple lights, smoke, and strobes, with
the resounding beat of Crazy In Love, before Jay Z segued into a
performance of his single, Show Me What You Got.

Beyonce
then left, letting her husband shine with hits such as Ni**as in Paris
and Tom Ford – reentering as background vocalist for Tom Ford.
She then changed her costume and belted out her hit, Who Runs The World? Girls.
USA Today lauds their collaborative performance: ‘Early on, it becomes apparent that this is a totally integrated performance.

are performing over 40 songs at each show during their 21 date tour
that will bring them next to Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday and then to
Foxborough, Massachusetts on Tuesday.

and Jay Z will also travel to the likes of Chicago, Los Angeles,
Seattle, San Francisco, and Toronto and Winnipeg in Canada.
They will perform two shows in Paris in September.
Beyonce wrapped her one year long Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in March, which became the most lucrative female tour of 2013.
Meanwhile, Jay Z wrapped his Magna Carta World Tour in January.

‘People are definitely infatuated with them as a power couple, first and foremost,’ Chuck Creekmur, CEO of AllHipHop.com, told USA Today.
‘A
lot of people look at them as a royal family of sorts and idealize them
in a lot of ways to represent true love and a fairy tale coming true.’
However, rumours have recently surfaced of a rift between the two.
In
Touch Weekly reported Jay-Z has been cheating on his wife with a New
York hostess named Casey Cohen, who he reportedly sees at least twice a
month.

allegations came less than a month after a video surfaced of Beyonce's
sister attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the 2014 Met Gala.
The cheating rumours are new for the couple, who are extolled as having one of the best marriages in music.
However, Casey has denied the rumours and her lawyer
is reported to have contacted the magazine's publisher, Bauer Media,
with a cease and dismiss letter, rubbishing the claim as 'a foul and
phony mistress-rumor,' TMZ reported.
