Sylvester Stallone Regrets 'Expendables 3' PG-13 Rating
Sylvester Stallone admits they shouldn't have toned down the violence in "The Expendables 3". In an interview with CraveOnline, the Barney Ross depicter seems to partly blame fans' lukewarm response on the movie's PG-13 rating.

"I believe it was a horrible miscalculation on everyone's part in trying to reach a wider audience," the
actor
comments. "But in doing such, diminish the violence that the audience expects. I'm quite certain it won't happen again."

Now, Sly promises to deliver more violence in the next installment. "Absolutely unequivocally yes," he says when asked if the fourth movie will be R-rated. "This is a big conflict for me because in an R-rated film it is difficult to believe that none of the heroes die. I personally just believe that the characters become identifiable and their demise could put a dark cloud over an audience exiting the theatre after seeing the film. But that may change in Expendables 4..."

Details of the upcoming sequel are unclear, but Pierce Brosnan has expressed his interest to star in it and Hulk Hogan revealed on Twitter he joined the cast.
