Kendall and Kylie Jenner Are Launching Their Own Mobile Game
The Kardashians' fans seems to have a lot of things to keep up with besides their reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" which is entering its 10th season.
Kim Kardashian's mobile game may be the most successful venture into video games since Mario Bross and that's why her sisters try to follow her footsteps.
Kendall Jenner, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 17, announced the exciting news on Twitter and Instagram that they're releasing their own mobile game, posting the same picture of their avatars. Judging by the photo from Kylie's Instagram, it looks like that the app is being developed by the same company that designed Kim's, Glu Mobile Inc. Kendall, then tweeted the same pic and captioned it, "We couldn't wait to tell you any longer! We are working on our own mobile game! #KendallKylieGame #staytuned."
According to Mashable, the sisters' new game will "center on interactions with others and mentors as they grow their careers." The new game will feature the likenesses, voices, and creative influences of Kendall and Kylie, and is expected to launch for Apple and Android devices. Kim's addictive game has earned almost $200 million. So, there is a chance that Kendall and Kylie's new game can follow the success of Kim's.
In an interview on Tuesday, March 17, Glu Mobile CEO Niccolo de Masi said he believes the game maker can repeat the success it achieved with the Kardashian mobile game. "I think there's room for us to keep growing out these types of games with differentiation," de Masi said. "Kendall and Kylie are kind of a different generation than Kim. They're Generation Z. Kim's followers are in their late 20s and 30s, and Kendall and Kylie's followers are in their teens and early 20s. The aspirations won't be the same."
While details about the game have not been revealed yet, some of Kim's gamers are really hoping for tasks like Fashion Week jet-hopping, makeup contouring, and lip liner application, as well as cameos by digi-Cara Delevingne and digi-Tyga. Rumor has it, the game may be released in late 2015.
