Justin Bieber's Florida DUI case got another delay
The upcoming hearing will determine whether the "Beauty and a Beat" singer will be tried on charges of driving under the influence and resisting arrest. A source told Daily News that prosecutors came to the courthouse to ask for a delay. It's still not known if a plea deal was negotiated because the source refused to give comment on it.
Justin was arrested in Miami Beach on January 23 after what police described as an illegal street race between Justin and a friend named Khalil. The "Baby" crooner was not charged with drag racing but charged with DUI after marijuana and Xanax were found in his system. He was also charged with driving on an expired license.
Police officer who arrested Justin at that time wrote in a report, "I immediately smelled an odor of alcohol emanating from the driver's breath. The driver had slow deliberate movements and a stupor look on his face. These are all indicators of an impaired driver."
It's still not known if Justin will attend the upcoming hearing.
